St. Louis Downtown Airport is conveniently located 3 miles SE of the Gateway Arch Riverfront with easy access from downtown St. Louis and I-255. Airport information for pilots is available at our host airport's website at:

Use caution due to the wide variety of aircraft flying in congested airspace.

TFR Procedures: The St. Louis Cardinals will be out of town this year so we aren't expecting any TFRs to interfere with this year's fly-in activities.

Aircraft without transponders: Aircraft that are not equipped with transponders and electrical systems are welcome. Ensure radio contact with our tower controllers before entering Class D airspace. Do not enter the St. Louis Class B airspace.

Aircraft without radios: No-radio aircraft, to include ultralights, are welcome. Use of a handheld portable radio to maintain contact with our tower is recommended. If a handheld radio is not available or practical, recommend flying formation with a radio-equipped aircraft in the lead. NORDO aircraft may also contact our tower controllers by telephone at 618-337-2589 or 337-5660 to coordinate their arrival time and routing in advance. Watch the tower cab for light-gun signals.

Grass landings: While some pilots have operated safely from the grass along the south side of runway 12R, off-pavement operations are not recommended. The relentless spring rains may have caused erosiion ruts. If you wish to operate from the grass, we encourage you to come out ahead of time and inspect the area in person--our airport maintenance personnel will escort you to the area. If you choose to operate off-pavement, you will be doing so at your own risk.

RENTAL CARS:
is available at both FBOs (Ideal Aviation and Jet Aviation ). Click on the Enterprise logo above to reserve a car at the FBO of your choice (your car will be waiting for you when you land) or call Enterprise at (618) 337-6200 or either FBO.
