Construction Projects

In order to better serve our community, itinerant traffic and tenants, the St. Louis Downtown Airport is constantly working to improve its infrastructure. Please take a moment to gain familiarity with ongoing and planned construction projects. The St. Louis Downtown Airport charges no local tax, but generates an estimated $584 million to the local economy and generates 142 jobs in the community.

Runway 12R-30L Drainage Improvements

Runway 12R/30L Stormwater Drainage Improvements: The sod area between runways 12R/30L and taxiway bravo will be regraded during August through October. Expect brief runway closures and extended closures of the crossing taxiways, bravo-three, bravo-four, bravo-five, bravo-six, and bravo-seven. At times, aircraft will have to make a 180 degree turn on the runway to enter and exit via bravo-one.

TAXIWAY B2: THE SOUTH HALF (400 FT.) OF TAXIWAY B2 BETWEEN B AND B1 IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
